A:  Typically when you buy a ready built house/blind or kit, it is overpriced, flimsy and noisy.   Hill’s Hideouts are rugged, sturdy and long lasting houses when built according to Hill’s Hideouts specifications.

Q:  What features does Hill’s Hideouts offer that others do not?

A:  Our houses are designed with hinged window openings which can be adjusted to any level to block sun and rain. Hill’s Hideouts have 2x4 ledges/shelves on each wall for convenient storage of your hunting accessories and also serves as a gun prop when shooting.  These plans can be completely tailored to each hunter’s liking.  For those who enjoy a more luxurious hunting house, one can add more shelving, rests, plexiglass could be easily added to the window for a mor e sealed unit and even a foot prop at floor level for added comfort.These houses are limited only by one’s imagination!!!!!!!

Q:  What will I receive when I order your preprinted plans?

A:  You will receive a detailed, professionally printed set of plans that will instruct you in each step of building your custom hunting house blind.

Q:  What will I receive when I order your downloadable plans?

A:  You will receive the same quaility plans in Adobe PDF fomat that you can print on your printer for easy assembly.  For maximun quality of the printout, please set the printer properties to use the entire page for printing.

Q:  How long will the plans take to download?

A:  That will depend on your internet connection speed.  Dialup connections of 28.8kb will take approximately 5 minutes.

Q:  How long does it take to tan an animal skin from start to finish?

A:  Tanning takes 10 to 14 days.

Q:  Do the chemicals have a bad odor?

A:  The chemicals we recommend do not have an offensive odor.

Q:  Are any of the chemicals dangerous?

A:  The chemicals are not dangerous to handle.  However, it is always recommended to handle any chemical with caution.  The use of gloves is suggested, but not necessary.

Q:  Where can I buy chemicals for additional hides?

A:  Chemicals can be found in a variety of stores (your local supermarket or drugstore).  This is also described in the video with each kit.

Q:  How long does it take to ship my kit once I order?

A:  Approximate shipping time is approximately five to seven days.
